The monasteries of Meteora
Visits to three of the monasteries: their gardens, stone caves, frescoes and relics, and the story of the monks and nuns who have lived there for centuries.

Time at the top of the rock formations for the panoramic views, then a break at a local restaurant at the foot of the rocks. Lunch is not included.

Dress code for the monasteries. Women must have arms and legs covered; trousers are not allowed. Skirts may be provided at the entrance, and some monasteries charge €5 per item. Men should wear long trousers and avoid sleeveless shirts.
